      Well, its Halloween time again and Miss Laurie Strode is again about to do battle with the masked
killer Michael Myers in the new upcoming movie celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the 1978 horror
classic “Halloween.” Returning one last time to face the masked one is Jamie Lee Curtis as they face off
in their final confrontation.  It’s hard to believe that it has been 40 years in the making for this last
installment in the “Halloween” franchise. The last time the two were together on screen was back in 2002
for “Halloween: Resurrection and before that the 20th year celebration “Halloween H20: 20 Years Later.
Look for Halloween 40 this October.  

      Well it may have taken 47 years in the making but Morbius: The Living Vampire, like Venom, is getting
his own movie. That’s right Spiderman fans, the living vampire who first appeared in The Amazing
Spiderman Issue 101 back in 1971 is getting his own movie. We here at Blood Moon Rising will keep you
updated on the facts about this new Spiderman bad guy to get his own film.

      Godzilla returns in 2019 in Godzilla: King of the Monsters and to follow in 2020 with Godzilla vs King
Kong. The first film pits together the Big G with some old Monster friends and foes as we see the return of
Rodan and King Ghidorah. Then the shit hits the fan when Godzilla faces off with the mighty Kong in what
is sure to be the movie of the year for at least genre fans. God, I can’t wait for that one!

      The movie The Grudge is getting a new 2019 reboot along with Pet Sematary. It: Chapter 2 the sequel
brings the killer clown Pennywise back again to scare the shit out of the now grown kids of the 2017 film.
The singer turned horror movie director Rob Zombie returns to what he does best……his own storylines.
Picking up after The House of 1.000 Corpses and The Devils Rejects the next entry is 3 From Hell. With
his cast of the usual suspects Sid Haig, Bill Moseley and wife Sheri Moon Zombie.

      Some other horror movie release coming up for 2018-2019 are Hell Fest, House by the Lake, Fang,
Goblin 2, Seven in Heaven, The Toy Box, The Turning, Slaughterhouse Rulez, Patient Zero, The Dead
Don't Die, Escape Room and The Predator.

      And in Blood Moon Rising news, look for our new horror movie event coming this October 20th with
the Creepy, Freaky Film Fest. This all-new horror movie festival presented by our own publisher AL J.
Vermette will be held at the Queens Library 41-17 Main St. Flushing NY 11355. And a week later you can
catch me as host of Blood Fest 15 as we celebrate our 15th year presenting our yearly Halloween show on
