Here is an inside look at what happened at BMR Institute of Horror, Fantasy & Science Fiction event that happened on Feb. 23 at the Queens Public Library in Flushing Queens. While the weather the day before left a little doubt if the event would still go on, nothing can stop true horror fans from their love of all things horror. So enjoy the inside look and sorry you couldn't be there. But there is always next time. Always check the BMR Appearances page for our next public show.
All pictures were taken by Michele Jones and Victoria Jones
The event started with AL J. Vermette, Master of Ceremonies giving his introduction and his talk on Writing and Publishing. He then did a Q&A about the business.
As horror fans entered the Institution of Horror, they came across our monster museum located in the lower lobby of the library. Who would of thought to see an indoor graveyard?
After the introduction, Lake Films showed two films to the public and also did a Q&A of life behind the scenes of filming and the various aspects of making a movie. After that, there was a Authors Panel that included readings and a Q&A.
Here is the author's panel and Q & A. (l-r Michael Laimo, Racheline Maltese, Sean Lymon Fraiser and D.W. Jones)

For the finale of the show, the audience were invited on stage to participate in the Light Saber Duel. Though pictures hardly do it justice, here are some pictures of the Lucan Sword Battle. For video, go to You Tube and under search, type Lucan Sword Battle
